As director of analytics and content for Astuteo, a boutique web design firm serving Wisconsin's manufacturers, I was responsible for everything that wasn't front- or back-end design and development. While literally a Jack of all trades, my typical workflow distilled to: 

  1. Analyze a client's current website
  2. Develop a conversion funnel, target keywords and content map
  3. Coordinate meetings and reviews (via Basecamp) throughout the web design process
  4. Write all website content and meta-descriptions/titles
  5. Provide monthly results and revenue reports to C-suite with opportunities for improvement

Beyond content, analytics and project management, I also ran our clients' Adwords campaigns and built HTML 5 ads. 

 
 

What I accomplished:

 

1.

Increased monthly organic traffic 98% by uncovering long-tail SEO opportunities and writing web copy to target the new keywords.

 

2.

Planned, designed and implemented a six-figure CPC campaign that produced nearly 3x qualified leads from the prior year, while slashing the cost-per-lead by 58%.

 

3.

Wrote and designed digital sales collateral that contributed to a 85% growth in online quote requests.
